The first image offers a taste of what awaits inside: a scientifically detailed rendering of a generic eukaryotic cell, depicted at a scale that reveals its internal complexity in full. The deep violet nucleus dominates the centre, surrounded by a dense web of pink actin filaments and orange microtubules that radiate outward like a molecular scaffold. A golden mitochondrion nestles within the cytoplasm, while green and blue structures suggest the endoplasmic reticulum and other organelles at work. The background dissolves into ghostly white forms — neighbouring cells and extracellular matrix — giving a sense that this is not an isolated specimen but a living cell embedded in its biological context.


 

Clicking Enter Scene launches the Twinmotion Cloud experience directly in the browser. No download or installation is required — within moments, visitors find themselves standing inside a bright, contemporary gallery space with sweeping curved walls and soft recessed lighting. Two monumental cell models occupy the floor: a neuron to the left, its branching dendrites and axon rendered in cool blue-grey tones and reaching several metres in every direction, and a eukaryotic cell to the right, its plasma membrane a dense corona of pink and violet filaments. Human figures glimpsed in the background provide an immediate sense of the extraordinary scale at which these structures are presented.

Navigation follows familiar first-person conventions — visitors walk through the space, circle the models, and approach from any angle, experiencing cellular anatomy not as a diagram or a video, but as an inhabitable environment. This is the essence of the Cell Gallery concept: by bringing microscopic biology up to architectural scale and placing it within a walkable, photorealistic space, the LINDSAY Virtual Human project transforms the way we encounter the building blocks of our own bodies. It is an invitation to explore, to pause, and to look more closely than conventional media would ever allow.
