On May 20, 2025 the University of Calgary organized Future FWD, an expo and event to explore the future of innovation. We are excited that we had the opportunity to be part of UCalgary’s FutureFWD event to share our research on the LINDSAY Virtual Human. Here is a brief video that describes what we demonstrated.
Neil Christensen and Shane Berezowski joined me in showing our latest LINDSAY Anatomy app, build in Unreal Engine, and XR Share, a companion app to visualize and interact with 3D contents in a spatial environment. XR Share is currently being fine-tuned by Joanna Lin and Ali Kara, who created the initial prototype of the XR Share app with other team members as part of the iProgramming for Creative Minds course.
The LINDSAY Virtual Human project is currently generously supported by the Schulich School of Engineering as part of their Biomedical Engineering program.
